After a month, it does NOT work properly

It looked really cute and convenient in the store counter and I bought it, but after using it once a day for a month or so, the water is not filtered completely and it is not even hot enough, so I have to start it twice. I loved the size and the practicality but it is not good without a proper functionality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect for me

I love the size. I love the reusable filter - better for the environment than those horrid pods. I love that I can put the filter, filter holder & cup in the dishwasher and I love that I can make a fresh cup every time. I prefer to use my contigo cup and go. I am on my second machine in about 10-15 years (I am terrible with dates) and hope they never stop making this product.

Water Drained Straight Through the Unit

I’m so disappointed. I got this for my fiancée for Christmas and the first time he went to use it, the water drained almost immediately through the bottom of the unit. We tried troubleshooting to see what we were doing wrong but it is definitely the machine. We can see straight through the reservoir through the bottom, why is there hole in our reservoir?!!? Ridiculous, so disappointed.

Very Very Good Coffee

Purchased a week ago---previously had--the BD Brew n Go---which I liked enough to purchase 3 times---but units just wouldn't last. I was a little leary because of the style of basket--but have been proved wrong---this unit makes an even better cup of good ole' Maxwell House. coffee. I'm a senior and as a rule make only 1/2 cup--8oz. at a time but like being able to make the 16oz. size when friend drops in. I prefer a wonderful plain cup of coffee and this unit delivers. PS many friends are throwing out those awful Keurig monstrosities---and have advised them to purchase this.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great at first..

I bought this not even a whole year ago and at first it was great I loved it but now it seems it's not brewing right and alot of water is coming out making my coffee watery. I'm confused as to why this started happenning.

Auto shut off is great

This is the second B&D coffeemaker I've bought. Mine you, the Brew N Go still works perfectly, but my cm618 is even more compact and travels every where with me. As I order Gevalia coffee, I prefer to make my own coffee each morning. When I make coffee, I usually make two cups. This coffeemaker makes 2 cups, therefore, you need to put in two scoops of coffee so it will brew the perfect cup. They are both very goof products.

I bought this a few years ago to replace a much older B&D model (a "water fill to the top" with coffee basket under the tank, where the basket was worn out). This model ran flawlessly up to a few months ago. Now I have to re-start it once or twice to complete my coffee. The cup it comes with gets cold too fast so I bought a Thermos(RT) model H1005 that exactly fits the coffee maker. From what I can see, there must be a build up of "stuff" from hard water that is causing the need to restart lately. I am not sure what can be used to clean that out. I tried 10:1 water and vinegar and 10:1 bleach. Nojoy.

Defective.

I'm bummed - I had one of these for years and it worked great!! I used it everyday so I was surprised it lasted as long as it did. Once that one stopped working, I got a new one. I've only had it for a few months and it never brews a full cup of coffee!! Ever! I'm very disappointed - I wish I had my old trusty coffee maker back.
