Faulty power switch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleek design. I used it for one cup of coffee.
Later when I tried to bake a second cup, the on switch would not stay on. It would activate the red light but immediately shut off.
I’ve tried plugging into different outlets but same thing happens. The on switch will no stay on. I can almost hear it warming up the water but it cut off so fast, it won’t dispense any water into the basket of coffee .

Excellent product

I bought this about a week ago and finally used it yesterday, with Starbucks coffee that I had to grind by hand. I was so happy with how easy it was to use and how easy it was to clean the filter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thai is the second Black and Decker single serve coffee maker that I have owned....The first , which was purchased in 2012 is STILL working, but I decided to buy another when I saw it and before #1 died’!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not Hot Enough

Received this maker for Christmas to replace a similar design (drip, open basket) that I'd been using for 5+ years. This one is nice, but it doesn't seem to get up to temperature. I haven't changed the water/grounds ratio that worked just fine for the other and have played around with adding additional grounds, but consistently get under-brewed, weak coffee. Measured it finally and the brew temp is only about 155°F instead of the +180°F that you need to actually get an extraction.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Space saving coffee maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd Black & Decker Single Serve coffee maker. Other 2 worked fine but thought it was time to replace them.
Love that it takes up so little counter space. I use coffee pods and it makes a great cup of coffee using only 1 pod.
