It seemed filtering smell really

It seemed filtering smell really well for less than two weeks. After that, it went back as if it was never replaced. I think it still works well for dust, so two stars. I'm getting a regular filter next time.

Replacement Filter for A375UV

This is a great unit and the new filter is clearing out some stale odors from storage of my LP's. Originally bought this unit to deal with odors through filtering/ionization and provide UV disinfecting for a room for my dad with MRSA. Operated as advertised, none of the rest of the family contracted that affliction. It is disappointing that the UV option is no longer supported by your company. Luckily, there are still lamps available from various suppliers.

I live in Portland, OR. I continually suffer from allergy attacks, especially at night when I’m trying to sleep, and in the mornings. So I bought
the Alen Electrostatic Air Cleaner & filter. I’ve used it with an A375 Hepa filter for a number of years, without conclusive effectiveness. I’m now trying it with ab A375 HEPA-Silver filter. I turn is on for the night till I get up. I have only used the new filter for about a week and I have not yet
reached a conclusion.

A375 HEPA - OdorCell Replacement Filter

My husband smokes and we have a dog. The Alen Air Purifier and Filter do a good job of ridding the den of these odors. The only negative I see is the cost of the filters. We cannot afford to replace them every month, so we usually run the purifier for longer than suggested with a used filter. I am sure this is not good for the machine or us, but we do not have a choice.
