removes smoke odor

In the winter we use our wood stove 24/7 the Alen does a great job of keeping our house smelling smoke free,it also takes out a ton of dust when windows open and attic fan on in the spring and fall.We have two one in family area and one in the bedroom.They also stand behind their product if you do the filter program

Have had this air purifier for 8 years and have never had a problem with it. I just replace the filter every outlet years. Works great.

A350 Silver Hepa replacement filter

Since I've been using these for many years, I can only assume it's still doing its job well. Unfortunately, the silver model does not remove cooking odors.

We are very happy with the operation of our air filter. I like, particularly, that you added a rubber gasket around the entire filter to insure a tighter fit. I would like to see the velcro attaching material around the entire filter as well along with the opportunity to purchase the material to have it go entirely around the frame that the filter sits in so I can install it myself.

I didn’t realize how well

I didn’t realize how well these filters worked until we had a power outage and the unit turned off. A day went without a thought, until we came home and smelled our dogs! We have two giant labs that are indoor dogs.
After turning on the unit it wasn’t long and we didn’t have that smell again. They are a must for pet owners!!

need a filter with a lot of activated charcoal

The filters although good for many things fail on VOC's. They need to have a filter that has a lot of activated charcoal to take out the VOC's.
VOC's are often the most significant indoor air pollutant in a house environment.

Because of this I prefer air purifiers from the couple companies that have heavy activated charcoal filters.

A350 with the silver filters

I have 3 of the A350's and I love them. I use the silver filters in them and this helps tremendously in my home. I have 2 macaws, 3 sun conures, 2 Pomeranians, 2 kittens and (2 adult cats that stay inside during the night) in my home. You would not believe how much these help keep the pet dander down. I do clean the pre-filters each week when I vacuum and have to change the filters out about every 4-5 months. I would definitely recommend these to anyone and I am considering getting even more to spread throughout the rest of my house. Right now I have one in the living room, one in our bedroom and one in my grandsons bedroom. Great product, a little pricey but worth every penny.
