I spent a lot of money on cheap air purifiers over the years. I finally bought a good Alen and it’s lasted years beyond the others. I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Alen.

Excellent Filter. Cats love it

My wife has asthma on top of allergies. We have 2 long haired cats and an African Gray parrot. Between cat fur and parrot dust, Illinois pollen, and other irritants 9sorry the filter does not help with politicians) the air can get a bit dangerous for her. The Alen 375 allows her to function, lets the cats sleep in the bedroom and her to breathe normally. With the easy to clean mesh capture screen, I can wash them, put in a clean one, and the filter last over 90 days. If I forget to change the filter, I can tell - her eyes tear lots. Oh yeah, on top of that our cats stop by frequently to get a breathe of clean air.

Filters work great and help with my allergies. Always amazed at how much they collect. Automatic shipment makes it convenient and I always have a fresh filter on hand when it's time to replace.

After reading the glowing reviews of the air filter, I was expecting quite a bit more out of it.
I am a light smoker and I use the air filter in a room with 240SF and a 10' ceiling.
For almost a week I ran it on high with both the UV & ionizer engaged. I could not tell any difference.
After that, I put it on low and let it keep running.. The room seems somewhat better but still not as good as I thought it should be.
As for the instructions: The last time I purchased something with instructions this poorly written was in the early days of Japanese imports.
I still don't know when or if I am to use the UV & ionizer functions, so I just leave them on all the time.
Also, seems a little odd that the power light indicates red in stead of green when the unit is on.
I would not buy this unit again.

I love my Alen air filter! I believe I've had it over 5 years now, it's never off, and works beautifully 24/7. The auto-delivery on the new filters fits my "I don't want to think about it" lifestyle. This is a fine product.
