My Alen Air :Purifier is keeping me healthy

I can now breathe easy, literally. I've had my Alen for about 5 years and it is still doing wonders for my space. I am particularly glad of the lifetime warranty and the fact that I can still get the appropriate filters. I get them automatically every 8 months. I sometimes have folks stop in to my place just for a refreshing breath.

New Filter Design

Very impressed and pleased with the new design. Incorporating the filter around the edges is going to help keep fine deposits from getting past the filter.

New filters have a better edge seal.

The new design with the foam around the edges seal better. The foam, however, does not always make contact with the inner micro-switch that senses the filter's presence. The unit, of course, will not operate unless it senses the filter's presence.
Perhaps the design could include a firmer sealing substance in the area of the micro switch contact.

I get the silver filters and have 3 units. I use the auto ship every 6 months and it works just great for us. The air is always clean and fresh in our house. It makes it an extra pleasure to get home after work after being out in polon and dust.

A350 with the silver filters

I have 3 of the A350's and I love them. I use the silver filters in them and this helps tremendously in my home. I have 2 macaws, 3 sun conures, 2 Pomeranians, 2 kittens and (2 adult cats that stay inside during the night) in my home. You would not believe how much these help keep the pet dander down. I do clean the pre-filters each week when I vacuum and have to change the filters out about every 4-5 months. I would definitely recommend these to anyone and I am considering getting even more to spread throughout the rest of my house. Right now I have one in the living room, one in our bedroom and one in my grandsons bedroom. Great product, a little pricey but worth every penny.

no more sleepless nights!

I have an apartment above the office in a body shop. I purchased the air purifier to help with allergies and dust. I use the silver filter and it works better than I anticipated. Unexpected to me was my ability to sleep more than 4 hours a night! After about 3 months, I started only getting 4 hours of sleep again, so I changed the filter. That night I got a full 10 hours of sleep! And a month later, I'm still sleeping soundly!
