This filter works great keeping the whole first floor fresh and safe. I love the automatic function of the fan. It comes on when it detects odors from cooking.

The new air filter doesn’t

The new air filter doesn’t seem to clear the air like the first one did. It does help me sleep better. I have noticed that the dust in the room is less but it seems like a bad year for dust which I am highly allergic too.

Easy to Install

We love our Alen air purifier and it was super easy to install the replacement filter. We love its simplistic design. Also appreciate the convenience of having the replacement filters on subscription - we know when it comes in the mail that it is time to replace the filter. One thing that you might consider is enclosing very brief, easy to read instructions with the the filter - I was unsure whether or not the black filter that is attached with velcro was supposed to remain on the filter or whether it was part of the filter (mistakenly removed it on the first filter). A quick lookup online informed me that it was the large particle filter so I left it on before installing. You could also instruct on how to easily clean the sensor with a Q-Tip. Thanks for providing an extremely high quality product.

Breathing much less dust at Home

I have two Allen Breathsmart machines, one in my bedroom and one in my kitchen/family room. The two areas of my house where I spend the most time. I’ve had both for about a year. I just received the replacement hepa filters for each last week at the one year mark. The equipment is easy to understand and use. Our housekeepers that clean our home once a week have gotten into the habit of vacumning the dust off the filter. Based upon the amount of dust alone, the breathesmart is doing a great job removing dust, allergens and other contaminants from the air in our home. I highly recommend this system.

We are amazed at how much it helps. The outer filter that catches big particles works great and you can clean it. We are a 2 person family and clean frequently and it still runs full blast at times. Every family, even if you don’t have allergies, sensitivity to dust, etc should have one.

I wish I could submit a before and after photo of the air purifier's replacement filter - after seeing how much cleaner the air had been made, it made me so happy I have a purifier in my classroom now.
