Alen Breathesmart HEPA-Silver Replacement Filter: BF35-Silver-Carbon

I purchased the silver option to replace the odor cell filter I originally used. I first purchased the odor cell option because I had a new male kitten who had sprayed around the house. Since the odor cell option worked so well at eliminating the awful scent and the kitten has since been neutered, I opted to try the silver carbon filter as a replacement filter. I'm happy to report that in no way am I disappointed. The silver option works just as well at removing the pet dander, dust, and pollen from the air around my home. Unless I run into another odor issue, I will continue to choose the silver option for my replacement filters.

Awesome Product!

I have 3 Alen air purifiers in my home due to asthma and allergies. I have two little Shih Tzu dogs and there is no pet smell in my home, and there is very little dust that accumulates in my home. When I bought my home, a cat had lived there and I am allergic to cats and had to basically tear out all the carpet, wash or paint walls and clean the ducts; I was allergic to my home! After doing all that, I purchased 2 Alen air purifiers; one large one for my living area and one smaller one for my bedroom. I now have a third which I put in a large room where my dogs stay during the day. I love them, they are quiet and keep the air in my home fresh. I feel I don't get as sick as I used to get because of the cleaner air. I would recommend these to anyone who has allergy / asthma issues.

We have 3 parrots, 4 dogs, a cat & a chinchilla. The BreathSmart Purifier paired with the HEPA Silver Filter removes an unbelievable amount of the dander our pets put into the air. Not to mention, guests we’ve had in our home who aren’t pet owners, are amazed that there isn’t even a slight odor from having a house full of animals! Alen products are top of the line & I don’t hesitate recommending to others investing with them for a solution to their air quality issues.

I suffer from allergies year around. I bought an air purifier several years ago as a recommendation from my Allergist and after research I settled with the Alen Breathesmart unit and decided on the HEPA Silver filter since I have dogs and suffer from the yearly allergens in my home. This filter has been a godsend in keeping the air in my house clear of everything I’m allergic to. I highly recommend it!

I usually receive my filters in about two days. This time it was over a week. The filters are not lasting as long as I was told when I purchased them.
