Good filter but pricey.

I have always bought this filter since I got my Alen Breathesmart Air Purifier. It is a good filter, but the price is a little extreme. They should not cost as much as they do since the purifier is pricey itself, but since I have the purifier I buy the filter that is suppose to be used in it. Just make sure you get the filter you need. The highest priced filter puts off a terrible smell to it. I thought I would try it, but that was a mistake. I had to go back to the one I have always bought, the Hepa-Silver Filter. Guess I will just always get this one from now on.

Our building is undergoing renovation

Our building is undergoing renovation and restoration. Construction nearby creates so much dust that I must wash our car frequently. The filter removes odors, captures dust and cleans our air very well.
We have purchased about five models, eight units and many filters over the last ten years or so for ourselves and the families of our two children. We are very satisfied.

Alen Breathesmart BF35-Silver-Carbon

It is an outstanding unit. We recently purchased a HEPA-silver BF35-Silver- Carbon replacement filter .. I have asthma. I am able to tell when the unit is on or not on. It operates efficiently and quietly. I am considering a second purchase and would recommend to anyone considering a purchase.

I continue to be amazed

I continue to be amazed at how much STUFF my Allen Filter pulls out of the air. My allergies are all but gone and I'm breathing much better. I keep my filter running on Turbo speed 24/7 and am very happy! Best filter I have ever owned and very easy to keep clean!
