this a/c unit is big and powerful. it is moderately easy to install with just one person and it can be loud, but it's a powerful unit so i think that's to be expected. we use it to cool our entire 550 sq. ft. aparment in nyc and it does the job - fast. so dealing with the ambient noise generated by the unit's motor and blower is a fair trade off for staying cool.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This air conditioner cools 2 large rooms very well. I also have a ceiling fan which spreads the cool air. This is not the only air conditoner that I have. I have 2 smaller ones. One in the master bedroom, and one in another bedroom. I am thrilled with my electric bill. I chose all energy star air conditioners. This frigidaire cools half of my home. My electric bill was $50 lower when we had the record temperatures at the beginning of the 2012 summer. I was surprised!

My husband and I just bought this model and are completely satisfied with it. It is quiet, It does not run all the time, It cools perfectly. we went through two other units before finding this one and wont be looking for another. We found the perfect one.

I love my unit!!! My daughter says every time she comes, that she is taking home with her!!! It gets so cold some times, I turn it off!! Sure makes for a restful sleep!!!!!! Thanks Frigidaire
