That is how long it lasted before it failed. My last review was denied because of the facts. I will leave it at that and then I won't violate the posting rules. Ratings are a result of censorship.

Smart TV????

The manual I downloaded from your support site is over 300 pages. I was looking fiorward to learning all about my new
PN64D8000 TV.
HOWEVER, The manual is white lettering on a black background. The local printer would not consider printing it for me due to cost of ink. Why would you do this??? IF you sold the manual I could understand, but you don't even do that. I am very unhappy.

Disappointed in 3D

The picture quality is exceptional on this tv, but we are very disappointed in the 3D and regret spending the extra money for it. The upscaling of a 2d picture to 3d works pretty well, but actual blu-ray 3d discs do not generate a picture that I would consider 3D.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, exceptional picture
Cons: Did not meet expectations, 3d is disappointing

not a bad system. the smart hub is ok but it has ALOT of useless stuff that's not worth a dang. the qwerty keyboard on the remote is "iffy" and difficult to figure out. it's a pain and therefore i don't use it much. i bought this TV for the glare reduction, but it's not that great. there are a lot of better TV's for the price, but if glare is a concern this is one of the better ones. it's not great....but it is better.

Blown away at the black level. Excellent Tv. After a month I am still amazed at this masterpiece.
