I bought this recently because I've been using my sister's Homedics sound machine for a month now. It's identical and I've been using it to drown out background noises for my newborn while she's napping. I love it because my sisters are loud and my baby has mostly slept undisturbed. I love the timing feature which will turn off automatically when you select how long.

Not setting to white noise, restarting with alexa

I bought this today. When switching off with alexa with white noise and when switching on, it goes to the default sound and not white noise. Please help, else i have to return

We are sorry to hear this. The sound spa needs to be powered off using the on/off knob. When the product is powered off using the on/off knob, it will power on to the previously set sound. If you are using a smart plug to power the unit off, it will power on to its default setting. Please return the product to the place of purchase if it does not meet your needs. the machine worked well enough, but the sound was too low. I took off an extra star because I found out you have to PAY to return a defective model. Indeed!
