I bought this after staying at a cabin where they had one in the room. I have a sleep disorder so I thought I try it. I’m getting to sleep better than before. It has an option for battery to trial and it’s very compact. This one has 5 different sounds I may be inclined to purchase another one with more sound.

machine stops on its own....

My husband and I recieved this as a gift when we were expecting our first child. We enjoyed the white noise as it was loud enough and not annoying. HOWEVER the machine will die within a night if you only use batteries AND our machine which is only 7 months old will now randomly stop on it's on. This is obviously a huge issue when you finally get your child to sleep and they get woken up when the machine stops. Disappointed in the quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

it is great, but I ordered it for the beautiful Rio Rainforest birds sounds and you placed it with summer crickets...not bad but not the same.

Finally replaced it, took a decade to stop working. The best and simplest sound machine you can get. I’ve used it almost every single day for the entirety of the time I’ve owned it. The price is more than fair for the quality of the product.
