This TV was worth every penny. I did 6 MONTHS of research before going with this one. I'm glad i did. I found all the pros and cons of each TV, and this one blows them all out of the water. The one thing that I'm kinda bummed about is that the "Smart Hub" takes a little while to boot up now. Then again, i just saw that the TV needs updated, so hopefully it gets addressed. But WELL WORTH IT. BUY BUY BUY!

Great TV, Awesome Picture

The TV is amazing. Great picture, sound is actually quite loud and distortion free compared to others I have heard. The reason for only 4 stars on features and performance is the loading time to start apps. While this Samsung may not have developed the apps, most of the apps are not as funtional as I would like them to be which reduces the feature rating. Another item that bugs me is the fact that the picture in picture is quite cumbersome to turn on. This is a feature I use frequently when the main screen is my computer monitor and the small picture is a background TV channel.

My husband and I did a lot of research and found this tv to be the best quality, best picture and price we could find. It is slim, easy to use and looks great! We trust the Samsung products highly, we have purchased Samsung cell phones and always extremely satisfied with the quality of their products.

This TV does everything! Samsung's SmartTV feature allows you to expand the functionality of this TV by installing apps. You can play games, browse the web (it's slow, however), check your social networking sites, etc. The display is amazing, too! The actual TV is incredibly thin - about half an inch. The bezel is so sleek and beautiful, I love it. I've used 3D a little so far and it is also very cool. The TV is able to convert 2D content into 3D. I haven't tried that much yet but I expect it to work "okay" but not great since there is no depth information in a 2D image. Still a cool feature either way. The TV also allows you to stream media from your network so you can watch videos and listen to music, etc. without using a 3rd party device. Highly recommended!

We purchased this television one week ago and could not be happier with our decision. My wife initially thought she was sold on Sony TVs but when she saw the Samsung was literally blown away. The size, picture quality, ease of use, setup, etc. make this television an exception value. My fellow employees have heard this story for the last week with no end in sight. I'd encourage anyone shopping for a new television to purchase a Samsung.

Nice Upgrade!

After a previous Samsung TV died after only 3 years I was a bit worried about getting another of the same brand. Did research and asked a lot of questions to confirm the internal issues had been dealt with and should not happen again so stayed with them and I am happy I did! Spent a little more than I wanted but in the end I am thrilled. The picture is so sharp and clean, being able to stream the internet is awesome and knowing it is 3D ready, I hope to enjoy that aspect in the future. I have had friends over and they too are loving the new buy and are wanting to replace their TVs now too.
The Qwerty remote for the internet usage was difficult to set up at first, but customer service via the phone, not the internet helped and now it works perfectly. Has been nice being able to watch hockey games from internet feeds, interact via Facebook and rent movies all from the couch.
Took a little while for the website to get this model up, when I bought it (March 2011) it was a brand new line. Now that they have resolved that issue it is nice to be able to register and have the ability to use the customer support when/if it is needed.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: cost is high but you get a lot of extras
