It's a good phone and has nice features. I like the s pen and the apps that you can get that utilizes it. Overall it's a great older phone.

The write on-screen is a great tool

I loved the fact that i could take a quick note with just a pull of the stylus. But the down side to this phone is that the battery life after about a year decreases quite quickly especially if your phone is always in your hand cause you have to do something. It got to the point where i was having to plug my note 3 in about 5 hours after i unplugged it in the morning.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def, Did not meet expectations, battery life is terrible
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I haven't upgraded from this phone, because it still does everything I need it too and it does it quickly and without delay. It runs even the newest apps just fine and with a great screen and touch response, I see no reason to upgrade.
