It is really a good fridge. Thou we are getting one replace because of a frame/door issue if functions as a fridge.

Great Fridge

I bought this a month or so ago. Great fridge. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the water that comes out of the fridge isn't as cold as I thought it would be. Wish it was colder.

The fridge was in a manufactured home we bought new but it was issues that we haven't resolved since early Jan 2014. The freezer door is crooked and both doors and handles were scratched. The fridge does not have leveling wheels and the fridge is sitting directly on the floor. Fearful the fridge is not cooling properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good value for money

I looked at several units. Overall, I was happiest on purchase with the Whirlpool. It had good features, quality rating and a competitive price.In use, the unit is quiet, easy to use and understand, and a good value.

First time side by side refrigerator

We move to a new manufactured home and this unit was the one that came with it, very impressed. It's durable, spacious and the water and ice maker are really useful, not having either before. One small criticism, should be better or any instructions how to change topbulb that has burned out, other than that a very nice unit

What I expected for the price range

It would be nice if the doors were textured like the rest of the refrigerator because the smooth glossy finish on the doors are a little more difficult to keep clean looking. As others have noted the unit is a little noisier than we were used to. I suppose the ice maker in the door contributes to this problem.The refrigerator seems to be functioning properly though I have noticed pretty good temperature swings on the refrigerator side - as much as 10 degrees (after opening the door first thing in the morning). Not sure if this is normal or not. This model is suppose to have a special sensor built in to maintain consistent temperature through out the unit.This model is pretty spacious and for the most part the all the shelves can be placed how you like them. The main draw back is the plastic light cover that hangs down from the top of the refrigerator side. You have to tilt taller items to one side in order to get them past this cover above the top shelf; after that things will fit fine.Overall I'd say we a pleased with the purchase and are keeping our fingers crossed that it will last several years.
