We Love the product

We love being able to wipe the doors off with a wet rag instead of using stainless steel cleaner wonderful plus. I hope I can find this technology in a dishwasher and stove when I'm in the market. We love the size inside the freezer with the ice maker on the door gives a lot of room in the freezer. I was not pleased that I spent all that money and then I had to buy 2 additional shelves for the freezer. The rearranging of the shelves in the refrigerator took some time so the door shelves wouldn't hit on the shelves in the frig. Alll in All We are very happy with the room inside both the freezer and refrigerator and the washable surface that does not leave finger prints like the stainless steel appliance. We are very happy with the product and would highly recommend it to anyone.

redesign of water cooling system necessary

Whirlpool is a very strong name in the major appliance field. Your engineers should be able to redesign the water cooling system so that the heat transfer/cooling takes place in a different part of the refrigerator. I have read and you have received several complaints as to the lukewarm/ambient air temp of the water--yet you have not changed your design. We have had problems with our new unit and even though serviced almost immediately after new install, there is very little, if any improvement in water temp. It is obviously a design problem as I have viewed the location of your heat transfer unit.Second issue is with the drop-down light bar in the top of the fridge. Great light--but it requires you bend or twist tall items to remove them from the top shelf. If lights were sunk into the cabinet overhead, your problem would be solved.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is our second one due too the 1st one being a lemon! Hade several issues with the 1st one. Ice maker, moisture problems! The replacement has been way better so far!

One feature I would like is an egg shelf.Ihad one before and am used to it. I do like the ice maker in the door. It was one reason I bought this model.I wish the light would stay on longer, that way I could also fill my glass. small problem with ice cubes dropping on floor.
