This fridge is alittle on the small side. It matches my other whirlpool appliances. The stainless exterior is hard to keep clean. The Ice despener sometimes has water at the beginning of despensing. The water despenser shoots water out and does make a bit of a mess

Having owned 5 or 6 refrigerators, my main concern is they keep food cold. This one does, and it has good lighting inside so you can find the food. The meat drawer keeps meets extra cold, but doesn't freeze them(like a previous frig I owned.)It has a couple of shortcomings, but for the reasonable price point; I was willing to live with them. First, it has a small ice drawer and makes ice slowly. (If we're having people over, we buy a bag of ice.) The water pump for the icemaker is NOISY. And it really needs another shelf or drawer in the freezer. I had a very old unit previously, that didn't work very well; so this is a major improvement. I also noticed that my electric bill declined when I bought the new unit, so that's a plus.

I really like the unit except that whirlpool decided to change the water filter size from a previous model that I owned. Now I have filters that are worthless. The location of the shelving is poor design shelving has very little adjustability.

WOW Spacious!

This refrigerator/freezer has been a welcome addition to our kitchen. It is extremely spacious, has deep, but comfortable-to-reach glass shelves, and a sleek, neat outer look (we got the white one). The drawers in the fridge are very spacious, though they feel somewhat cheap and I worry that they will crack. The water dispenser/ice-maker is plentiful, but takes up a LOT of space in the door of the freezer, and has been quite the novelty with my kids...That's one diesign flaw that we could not avoid by buying any side-by-side other than the Kenmore, whiceh makes side-by-side without ice makers. I also found that I would have liked an adidtional shelf for both the refrigerator and freezer; but to purchase another would be around $80.00 apiece, not in my budget right now...
