Product is poor quality

After purchasing this product in April 2013 worked fine until 5 months old and crack in hose leading to filter lead to my removal of lower drawers and noticed cracks are in lower left floor of appliance. Now unable to use water and ice feature and very concerned about recommended fix for cracks! As I approach year of ownership I can honestly say I will never own another Whirlpool appliance!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're happy with the look of this refrigerator as well as with the configuration of the shelves. We have more than sufficient room for storing items both in the refrigerator & freezer sides. The only minor complaint we would mention is that the ice maker tends to shoot ice pariticles out of the chute no matter how closely you hold the cup, etc to the chute. That said, we have no hesitation to highly recommend this product.

top notch side by side

one of the best frig/freezers we've owned. love the extra room provided by having the icemaker in the door - gives us 2 more shelves of usable space. Wife and I do not like the drawer style freezers, as we find they are not efficient with their space at all. Only con is like all stainless steel finishes, but it wipes clean easily with a damp cloth or window cleaner.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Fridge

Awesome fridge. purchased this fridge after many checking some reviews and has worked great. Only complaint is the sound level on the ice machine when turning ob for water. But stainless has no flaws no prints after touching and very easy to clean inside. Would like to see a little more space in the freezer but works for my situation.

Great Appliance

It has been two months since I purchased this refrigerator and I am very happy with it except 1) no matter how well you adjust the shelves in the fridge, the height remains an issue and 2) not enough shelves in the freezer. The shelves are very expensive. Otherwise, I am satisfied with it; you just have to work with what you have.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor design when comes to noise. Door squeaks every time opening & close. Fan noise is loud. Positive design in space for storage.

Pros & Cons

This refrigerator is beautiful. I have had it for about 3 months. There is plenty of room in the freezer side and a decent amount in the refrigerator side. It looks great and has enough room--those are the pros. On the cons side, the icemaker freezes up fairly often and then no ice comes out. I have to dump out all the ice from the bin and rinse out the bin, thawing it. Then I dry it, put the ice back in and it works again for awhile. I don't know why this happens but I haven't had time to call and talk to Whirlpool about it, to see if I need a repairman or what. Also, once the water stopped working as well for a few days, then started up again. So, beautiful refrigerator, but questionable reliability.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good fridge, but...

This refrigerator performs very well. It stylish and looks a lot like more expensive models. My only concern is the limited number of shelf placements. Seems like the perfect height for the shelves does not exist; they are either too high or too low. But I can live with it when I consider how well this fridge works.
