Really Happy with my new Side by Side Refrigerator :)

A primary reason for choosing this model was the fact that it fit into my existing opening in the kitchen. It seems as though refrigerators are much larger as far as dimensions. The side by side refrigerator has nice features; glass spill proof shelving, lots of interior light, variable temperature controls. I really like the ice storage in the door of the freezer, but it makes it a little harder to get into the freezer to clean. But it's much easier to clean the ice bin so it's worth it. Like that the freezer has storage drawers as well as shelves. The features in the door (ice & water) are just right....and I like the "fast ice" feature for when I entertain. It helps to keep up with the extra demand. :) All in all, I am very happy with my new Whirlpool Side by Side Refrigerator. Would LOVE to replace my worn out washer / dryer with a brand new Whirlpool set. In fact, the next laundry pair I buy WILL be Whirpool, as well as the next range! (have already got my eye on the ones I would like to have) Thanks for making quality appliances!

Been pleased with the purchase. I wasn't looking for a whole lot of flare. I just wanted something that would do its job well and so far I have been happy with my decision.

I bought this fridge back in April. Prior reviews said it was loud...and it is. When the ice falls, it's louder than usual but it's okay with me. However, when the water refills into the ice maker...it's LOUD! Almost to the point that it screeches. I've had a couple of parts replaced but it didn't help. I wish you could "test" drive fridges in the store to see what it's like...how fast the water refills, how cold it is, the size of the ice cubes, how loud all the functions of the fridge are... Knowing what I know now, I would not buy this fridge. I bought a Whirlpool because I've never had any complaints with prior fridges...but this was a bad choice. The only thing I really like about this fridge is the additional space you get in the freezer since the ice maker is on the door...downside is the amount of ice you have.

The side by side has so much room you can stock up on groceries. We love the door ice and water system. And a great feature with kids who play sports. Easy to fill sports bottles.Thank youWhirlpool for making my life easierLinda

Easy opening doors and access to all shelves. Ice maker and water dispenser functions are easy to use. The ice maker in the door feature is one of the main reasons we chose this model. The water filter access appears to be very convenient as well. Great value.
