We got this fridge to replace a 25 year-old machine. I like the side-by-side design and it has the right dimensions (something we had a hard time finding). Ice dispenser in the door is a great feature, but it sometimes spits out ice minutes afterward when nobody's around. I have several problems with the fridge part: items freeze on the top shelf (I've tried adjusting the temp, but then things are too warm down below), the shelves are lined with white plastic that sticks up a bit, so you can't put items all the way to the edge, the door won't close on its own if you put a gallon of milk in it. So overall, it's good, but not the greatest.

Noisy

We've had this fridge for almost a year. The compressor or ice make makes noise that doesn't really bother me, but drives my husband nuts. But now when you open the fridge door it makes some other noise that doesn't sound normal and that bothers me!We also had to have the fridge door adjusted twice because it wouldn't stay level. The store where we got it finally agreed to get us a new door. On advice of serviceman, we stopped putting milk in the door thinking the weight might be causing it to get off-kilt. Haven't had any problems since.I've never had Stainless Steel appliances before and I guess I don't know what the definition is of "Stainless" steel. Fingerprints and water marks are a constant.The ice maker works fine although it takes a while to restock. Chopped ice is more like shaved. The water filter is easy to replace. The flow of the water could be a little stronger, but it's ok. I like the paddle design to push your glass against vs our old Whirlpool. The (white) paddles stuck out and the water would drip from the spout and we would get calcium deposits/stains on it. Impossible to clean even with vinegar.

I love my new refrigerator. We bought it even though we didn't need it because our entire kitchen would be new except for the fridge. I don't mind that the shelves don't pull out - never used those anyway, better storage in the freezer too, and best of all the entire ice maker is in the door. The water filter is going to be so much easier to replace, too. I would like more adjustments to move the drawers in the fridge side and shelves in the door - only thing I would change.

This is a nice appliance. I wanted a basic side by side and this appliance fits the need nicely. Good features, not more than I need.I like the water filter and ice in door features.

This Refrigerator has simplicity of use, is sleek in its appearance, and keeps my food at the correct temperature. The best part of all is that I was looking for an American made refrigerator that was very reliable. I am thrilled that this is made in American!

The features on this unit are great, I love the size of the ice cubes it makes, the fact that the ice maker is on the door leaving a large amount of shelf space is great! the door shelfs are perfect size, as well are the shelfs inside the fridge! The unit is nice and quiet, even when making and dispensing ice. I love that it has a air freshener inside! The only thing I do not like is how easily the stainless steel gets smudged and does not come off. I cannot figure out how to clean off the smudge marks yet.
