Great printer for home of office

I love my new Samsung printer. I really love the fact that the wireless hookup makes it that much more great! I also own an Samsung black and white printer and i'm seriously thinking about moving my color printer in my bedroom and hook up my old printer.I love it!
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight

Does not Print Cardstock

No matter what technical support says, this machine does not print cardstock. Parts tend to fall out of machine that require service. This is a poor quality machine with little to no value as a home system. Better suited for a paper weight rather than a all-in-one printer. Picture of part is added to this review.

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, does not print cardstock

Hard to install software

had to call tech supp for each of my comp.not USA. I've never had a prob with installation with any of my past printers. Even tech support had a hard time after they took over each of the 3 computers I tried to setup. Took about 2 hrs

Cons: hard to setup. the worst i've ever had., had to call tech for each comp not usa, took a long time w them taking my comp

Great printer and low price

My old printer died and I needed a very good printer. My daughter purchased a Samsung C460 and loved it, so I went out and got one also. I wish that there were instructions included, but installing the Samsung on my MacBook was very easy.

Excellent Printer with great features

This is the second model type C460 Samsung color printer, the first one lasted about 2 years and wore out. Internal guts didn't last and would cost more then a new printer. So I purchase this one and we'll see how long this one will last. I have nothing but good things to say about this line of printers. Works great and print quality is great..

Cons: Did not meet expectations, internal parts longevity

c480fw is DIFFICULT to set up

Samsung "portrays" this Laser Printer as EASY EASY to set up. Number 1: Samsung needs to STOP printing on the Box AND inside Manual that "the included" SOFTWARE DISC (which was NOT included) and NOT supposed to be since the drivers download when Printer is installed. AND...the more I read the Manual, the more it contradicts the Steps to Install Printer. It "reads" as if 6 different people wrote the manual. NOT one part of the installation has been successful. I cannot connect Direct connect, I cannot Bluetooth, the printer has an Error Code (#U1-2320) since I removed it from the Factory Sealed box. I liked Samsung products b4 this current dilemma.

I found out what the FW stands for: Friggin' Worst

Nothing about this printer works correctly and very few of the features work at all. The wireless and mobile printing features have never worked. I gave up and connected via USB. Even with a hard connection, every time I want to print, I have to run the diagnostic utility, reinstall the printer software and reboot the computer. To be clear, there is no hyperbole in this description- literally every, single time, without fail, I have to reinstall the printer. I have four printers and a scanner which my staff and I use at my office and which work without a single hiccup every work day of the year. I bought the Samsung for home use because it prints in color and for the wirelessness (a real word, I believe). The Samsung has been, without question, the worst purchase of any home or office machine I have ever made and it suffers mightily in comparison to every other printer I have ever owned. I can think of no words that can genuinely describe how tremendously horrible this printer truly is.
