Good, but not the best tv I could have purchased with the wad of cash I had. There's no doubt samsung is a quality name, but after a year and a half the headphone jack broke, and now the speakers wont work. I'm sure that's not typical because I have another samsung tv that works fine, but I wish I would have shopped around for better values.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nicest picture of any TV I've had.
Onboard tuner and remote both high quality.
Works great as a monitor for Chromebook as well,
I use the headphone output into a Kloss radio for greatly improved sound quality.
Highly recommended.
