We love our new refrigerator! Temperature works well. The size is perfect. It's very quiet. Looks very nice in our kitchen.

Reasonable priced stainless fridge

I bought this to replace a 10 year old kitchenaide bottom freezer stainless steel that had stopped working. I had looked at many different ones and this one seemed to fit the bill. First on a positive note: 1. I love the room in the freezer! the extra drawers are a nice touch too. 2. the photo option is really cool, I personally found the installation of them very simple (I read a few reviews that said they had problems with the option). Unfortunately, I have found more negatives in my decision. 1. this stainless shows EVERYTHING! as I said I had a stainless so I know they can be bothersome with fingerprints but this one is 10x's worse, (one advantage sometimes keeps me out of the fridge for fear of having to clean it) 2. I was very disappointed with the "large capacity" drawer in the fridge as my previous fridge allowed me to put a platter in it, this one while as wide as the interior of the fridge is basically only half as deep. 3. The ice cubes come flying out you literally have to hold your cup or glass right up to dispenser and cover it with your hands. Also because of the dispenser being on the door you lose most of that door for inside storage, there is a small amount (wide enough to put a small bottle ie tabasco, worceshire etc) 4. The shelves inside are set up kind of strange (we already had to remove one so we could fit a carton of milk in it.
Anyway it fits the bill right now, as I said reasonably priced but I wouldn't purchase it again.

I Bought this refrigerator four months ago, first one came with a lot of problems, could not be fixed by GE techs, and finally they send me a new one. Still I have a dripping coming out of the water dispenser, will have to live with it.

Purchased appliance about 3 years ago. After a year it started making a whining noise. Common problem with GE refrigerators. Would not recommend.

I’ve had to replace the door pull handles 4 times now. All three of them once, and now the right door pull the second time. Chrome covered plastic= Lipstick on a pig.

problems with water dispenser

repair service came out. he used food grade silicone around water supply area. said problem had to do with the water company. And to buy a sponge to put in water tray. please help. water continues dripping after each use about 20 drops.
