Nice looking refrigerator but LOUD

This is a great looking refrigerator, and GE customer service is phenomenal (I originally ordered this fridge, but not the counter depth version - they gave me no issues with a swap out), but be warned it is LOUD. And, it seems like its constantly running. I could deal with the the noise if it was more sporadic - it's pretty constant.

Unit is extremely quiet, it has a streamline look and some great features. The Auto water feature is my favorite one, just sit your glass on the tray push a button and walk away!

We had a difficult time finding the right size with enough cubic feet. Almost went with a different brand, but the GE had the best water dispenser--the other one wouldn't even fit our water glasses. New, but great so far. Lots of room on the inside for our many
condiments, leftovers, and liquids. The water dispenser dripped at first, but no
problem after running several glasses of H2O through the line. We will keep an eye on that.

Poorly made water/ice mechanism

I purchased this fridge replacing a GE Profile side by side. I have only had it a couple of months and the fridge part is great but the water/ice mechanism is terrible. The button sticks, water leaks/drips and ice shoots all over!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Spacious and beautiful

We have had this refrigerator for 2 months and love it! It holds everything and seems more spacious than a counter top refrigerator. Only draw back is that the water dispenser drips after using it. In our area the water is very hard and a white calcium build up is taking place. This is a small issue considering how much we enjoy the refrigerator.

My beer is cold. My vegetables are crisp. My cheese is...the appropriate storage temperature? I mean really what else can I ask for? It's much larger inside than 23 cubic feet suggests, and looks all fancy and new. It's quiet, and I have a picture of a sloth on the little display screen by the water dispenser, so now I can laugh AND get water at the same time. Really, you can't go wrong with this fridge.

I bought this refrigerator six months ago and have already had two service calls. I have been happy with the warranty service. I love the look and features of this fridge, albeit is a little small due to the counter depth. Haven't had any trouble with the ice maker, but the auto fill water has overflowed cups on a number of occasions. The plastic that is applied to the stainless steel is all but impossible to completely remove, so if you look closely you'll notice some shredded plastic around the gaskets.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was concerned that a fridge that was counter depth would be too small. Currently, it's holding an eight pound turkey breast and a stock pot of soup along with the usual sides, veggies, salad fixings, cheeses, gallon containers, left overs etc. Not too small for me.
