I've used these new clippers five times and like them better each time. They do get some getting used to...but the results are worth it. I especially like the feature that allows you to finish up a haircut if the battery runs down by simply plugging in the clippers.

Motor problem on two consecutive units

Ordered the first one and had it replaced by Philips immediately due to a very loud high pitch screeching sound that auto stops it from running after a couple seconds. Replacement worked for about two years, now same problem. Enjoyed the cordless feature, although charging took a very long time, had to leave it in overnight. Will be trying a different company this time

Great product, big money saver

These clippers are perfect. Since I like my hair very short (military cut), these clippers let me do it myself. I like the way they are built and they last forever on a single charge. I have saved a ton of money by doing my own hair. No more over-priced haircuts, no wasting gas getting to the barber, no tipping. I recommend these to anyone looking to do their own cuts.
Pros: cordless, charge lasts a long time, pays for itself quickly

I would suggest to make product more skin friendly and flexible enough to trim hairs near and behind ears.
Pros: variety of trimming size., cordless
Cons: not very skin friendly, baterry life is very short

I cut my hair very short and use a clipper daily. This is my second unit purchase in 6 months. The design flaw is in the plastic guide blades. Both purchases the adjustable plastic guides broke due to use. I do not put a lot of pressure on the combs but both broke at the exact same spots. It is a shame because the idea and performance are great. If the plastic used was a better quality this would fix problem. I went to another brand. This might be good for a light user.
