TV has sharp picture and fairly good sound. Helped the sound out with a Bose speaker system. Picture on HD network channels looks like it is live and Blu-Ray discs are so sharp they could cut you. Very happy with the purchase

Clean an sharp design, I was amazed at the picture quality and colors. I have searched and could not find the quality, that this TV has.

This is out second LG LED LCD and even better than the one from 15 months ago.
Amazing screen right out of the box and easily adjustable to fit your person preferences. Visual like sound is something very personal and thus everyone sees and or hears things specific to themselves.
Video games are outstanding along with HD broadcast and blu-ray of course. Standard definition looks fine to us. That will always pale in comparison to any HD or blu-ray broadcast.
Thin and light by comparison of just LCD models from a couple years ago.
Fits into any decor and you will get compliments all around. I have had many LG products over the years and personally fortunate to always have a good experience.
Highly, highly recommend this TV. Like with anything go to a retail store and see the TV in action, go to more than one to compare to other brands and models as I said each person has a different view of screens/colors/sound and is a very personal preference. Make sure you purchase where they have a 15-30 day return policy as if you are not pleased you are not stuck with an item. READ instructions and learn how to change the settings and use the two remotes etc as that will only enhance your experience.

Hands down the best TV i ever played with. I use to install satellite so i played with them all. i have had this TV for almost two weeks and loved it so much that i returned it and got the same model in 55". you will not be disappointed with your purchase. no matter which one you choose.

The LV5500 delivers excellent LED picture quality that along with a whole lot more. You can tap directly into instant entertainment with Smart TV and with TruMotion 120Hz refresh rate sports and faction movies never looked better? I enjoy the true color and clarity of the picture while listen to the clear sound that the set provides.

Love this TV, takes alittle time to get the sound to match to the TV, Netflix, and DVD's. Best picture in HD I have seen in many TV's.

Great TV, good picture, easy to use. One touch wand is great time saver. Could use more apps but is adequate, nice to have WiFi capability.
