I finally got a new TV. The 27" tube TV died last week and forced my hand. I still have to get a digital cable box and a wireless router but I am in no hurry. We are in an Economic Downturn, right?
I'm very impressed with the picture on this TV. I can't believe that it is going to get better with a digital channel or better yet, a blue ray player. How much better can it get? I just hope it lasts as long as that old tube TV did.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, easy to set up

An excellent Tv with one glaring flaw

The picture is beautiful and makes even standard DVD's look like HD. It was easy to setup and use and light as a feather. I'm enjoying the smart hub but one major flaw is no web browser for this model. I'm told the D6300 and higher models include a web browser app in the smart hub. Go for those models instead of this one, if you want full internet functionality

The richness of the color, the picture, the design, just everything is GREAT!!!!! on this TV. The smart apps are awesome. It is a great TV.

This is the second Samsung TV that I own. I also own a DVD player and a VCR/DVD player. They have all worked well from the begining. I have had the VCR/DVD player for several years and have never had any problems with it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, good value

This TV has an amazing picture out of the box, and is even better if adjusted correctly! The LED motion plus feature is a nice touch, but it could be much better. At times during fast action scenes, the video lag is quite obvious, when compared to my older Samsung plasma, but can be adjusted to make it look decent. This LED is incredibly thin and looks amazing mounted on the wall! It barely takes up any space and is lightweight. I'm impressed with the Smart Hub, but wish that there was a wider variety of apps, including a full internet browser. The menu system is very straightforward and easy to use, and a step up from previous Samsung models. Overall, it's a great product with an outstanding picture. This TV is top of the line and is just another reason why I refuse to buy any brand other than Samsung.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, outstanding picture, it's a samsung
Cons: 120hz refresh rate, no internet browser
