Have had this set for about 6 weeks. Initially I was surprised at the amount of blur, particularly watching tennis....the ball looked like a comet as it crossed the court. Service said that this would go away in a few weeks after the screen was broken in. Haven't been able to verify as I haven't seen any tennis matches recently, but other action sports and golf seem to be OK. Overall picture is very crisp and clear. I tried streaming Netflix through the TV Smartapps and it was OK, but not as user friendly as my ROKU player and the available TV adjustments while in Smartapps was very limited....can't even adjust screen size. I'll continue to use my ROKU. Also, I discovered that Dolby Audio won't pass through to my new sound bar. Don't know if this would make much difference, but seems like it would be easy to do, and increase flexibility. Overall I'm very pleased with picture quality, which is why I purchased a new TV to begin with.....
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, screen size toggle on remote, led is real energy saver
Cons: limited adjustment options while in smartapps, doesn't pass through dolby audio to external speak

for the money it should come with cables / and wireless card. built in speakers are a bit weak
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: supply a hdmi cable. be the leader!!

This is a great TV in all kinds of ways. The minor problems are that since its an LED, The sound quality isn't as good as an LCD. But understand that, That is mostly all LED TV's downfall which in my case isn't something minor. Also this TV's visual performance is stunning and very eye popping when approached. The only problem I've had with the visuals is that I can't figure out how to get it to work at 120Hz. But other then that this TV was worth every penny and was a very satisfying purchase.

Cons: built-in speakers, 120hz (availability)

Great product which meets my expectations for design, value, features and price. The picture and features on this set are wonderful; I really like the SMART TV apps. I used an ethernet wire to connect, which connected straight away. The setup menu was easy. Overall I love this TV.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: should include wifi adaptor

I purchased my UN40D6000 for use in our master bedroom. I'm using Charter cable, and the room is wired for the internet.
The picture is absolutely stunning. I do notice some light bleeding from the corners when the screen is on but blank, but it's not noticeable at all when images are being transmitted, including dark scenes.
Tweaking the picture to your tastes is easy, and you can find recommended settings on the internet - just Google "UN40D6000 picture settings." If you go too far or aren't happy with your settings, you can always hit "Reset" to go back to the default settings.
The SmartHub works great: it loads quickly, and you can customize the apps to suit your tastes. PIP allows you to watch the channel the tuner is tuned to while using SmartHub. I've streamed Netflix shows and movies and they are perfect - no stuttering or dropouts - but of course the set is hard wired to our internet connection.
The backlit remote is easy to use and intuitive, but of course most of the time we are using the (non-backlit) cable box remote. One other note - this model does NOT feature a web browser; you have to go up to the next model to get that feature.
All in all, although these LED tv's aren't particularly inexpensive, we're thrilled with our purchase.
