I am always impressed with Samsung's TV Products. I have replaced all of home TVs with SAMSUNG LCD or LED TVs. This TV has a wireless adapter and I am able to stream videos and photos from my HP WHS effortlessly.
Only had this TV for a couple of weeks and its great. Knew we would be satisfied because our other 22" Samsung is just as wonderful. The on screen guide is simple, easy to use. Switching from TV to game console is just as easy. Picture is not HD yet (still waiting for delivery of HD cable box) but the colors are wonderful and the sound is great even though we have the option to switch to stereo speakers, sometimes its not necessary with the quality sound this TV makes. Would highly recommend this product.
First thing that i like about this product is the great quality of the color, brightness and the picture. I also like the sound... good speakers. I like the design of the TV.
The only thing I wish this tv had is the ability to turn 120hz on and off . Movies at times have the soap opera effect ,which I'm sure some people prefer. I like the film look on certain shows, not video look.Other than that the tv is what i expected from samsung,THE BEST!
Overall I am very happy with this product. Samsung was recommended to me from a friend and I can clearly see why. They have clearly taken into account all the different ways we connect with media in the basic design and features of this set. When the day comes to purchase my next tv, I will be looking for a Samsung.
I have only one minor issue and that's within the menu structure, which I consider a "feature" and rated it 4 stars. Although the menu system is very easy to navigate, the owner will have an issue when they go to label their sources. For example, I have an apple tv, Wii, and PS3. Currently, with the options available to me, those systems are labeled "IPTV, Game, and Blu-ray". As best I can tell (and I have read the whole manual - with my highlighter handy) there is NO way to edit a label. For such a well-design system, I would have thought they'd have a way to edit the labels. With any luck, when the next system update comes along, they might just fix the labeling issue and turn this bad beast into the new industry standard.
My God! Can't believe what I was missing! The working display in the store and the salesman did their job well. It was incredibly easy to set up (I used both composite and HDMI connections). The thought this company put into their products is amazing. The picture is great and self adjusts to the room. No specialist had to come in to set the tv. Anything I hooked up to it was immediately recognized. I like the matt finish as there is very little glare on the screen. Updates and Firmware can be loaded to the tv via a usb stick using the port on the back. The remote is easy to use. I had the unit/cable box/dvd/vcr all hooked up in 45 minutes! There are plenty of HDMI connections along with composite/av/usb. There are so many features that I'm still learning what this TV is capable of doing. Super display compared to any other tv at the store and typical for the company. I also bought an lcd/led monitor for my computer and it's display is just as good. I didn't expect the speakers to be very good but was pleasantly surprised. They are good enough that I don't feel any overwhelming need to go out and buy $500 worth of audio equipment for now.
Told I had bad hearing in grammar school and to suck it up because nothing could be done. Served in a 105mm howitzer battalion in Vietnam. Now 64, my hearing is not the best. My new Samsung, set to enhanced voice allows me to hear dialogue I was missing with my previous set, unless I sat 2 feet away.
