Best HD set for price for us

Did my research thru Consumer Reports ( allways take their reviews with 'a grain of salt'), but when we went shopping and compared features with the others on our list this was the best set for us. Have had it for about 2 months and it is just great, should have got it sooner.
In fact we just bought a smaller set for our 3 season porch which will be moved to our den in the fall

I'm still troubled by the fact that this tv says " 60hz" when turned on. I specifically reviewed only 120hz tv's, which this supposedly is! At least the box and description said it was.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: not 120hz

the picture is great, but it says wifi ready, then you need to buy another connection so you can use the wifi. I am thinking it should pull anything from the internet,no it doesn't it only pulls things saved on your computer. I call the support team and it doesn't have the option to make it a smart tv. I say skip it and go for something else.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

We chose the LCD over the LED models because the picture quality on this Samsung LCD TV is superb. The colors are vivid, bright, and clear. Others have complained about sound quality, but we did not have an issue with sound. The are plenty of adjustments available to make sound and color changes to your satisfaction. Yes, we are completely satisfied with our purchase...no regrets.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
