This product has a great picture

We looked at a variety of sets. For the price and features, this was a superior choice. The picture is clear and beautiful, and the sound is adjustable to your liking. Without really opening the booklet, we easily figured out the remote and settings.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, quality sound

Exceptional picture & reception with only outside aerial!

This series 6 is definetly worth the small difference in price. Another family member has a 2 yr old 46" series 6 and I was envious until I got my own. This 40" size mounted with a full motion wall mount is a perfect size without overwelming the room. Presently configuring to my 2 yr old desktop PC which is setup to record TV also from aerial signal. Hopefully will work out to be able to view recorded TV via my LAN cable to my PC? Also, this size and mount allows me to view the TV from 3 different rooms.

Even better than I expected

I bought this set to replace a 32-inch tube HDTV that died unexpectedly. I was knocked out by this set's picture in the store, and was even more impressed when I got it home. I didn't have to tweak the adjustments much at all! I like the 120Hz Auto Motion Plus when I'm watching sports, and the sound is very good for a flat panel TV. One of the best purchases I've made recently!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, fine sound, ample inputs

What a great picture !!!

This is our first flat screen TV. It has lived up to all the great reviews. The picture is so clear and the sound is even better than we thought it would be. Viewing TV has never been better for these two seniors ! Two thumbs up to Samsung.

120 Hz not worth extra $$

If I knew what I know now, I would not have spent the extra $$ on this 120 Hz version. The feature is difficult to use successfully as you constantly need to change the mode depending on what you are watching or the picture looks terrible.Save your money and get the 60 Hz version. I think you'll be plenty happy.

Cons: Did not meet expectations
