Great TV!

I love this TV! Samsung is my brand of choice and this TV did not disappoint. I actually didn't want to go with the 120hz version because of the extremely clear, almost soap opera-like picture, but the picture quality is fantastic, even with non HD cable and I am quite happy with my purchase. I definitely recommend this TV!

TV is a winner all around. I had to connect a module for the internet capability, but it was net ready. Great picture and quality. No complaints.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: needed built in wifi

3rd Samsung TV in the House

My house is now all Samsung TV's. Love the features on this model for the price. Had a 36 inch which I moved to the bedroom and put this one in the living room. My only minor complaint is that I wish the controls on the bottom of the screen were backlit so that you could see them when the house is dark. I always lose remotes so when I change source I typically do it from the TV itself. Fairly easy setup. Not sure why the contrast is set to 100 right out of the box, but I tend to lower it to about 90 with the brightness a little less than 50. Using this with DirecTV and Xbox and both look great and that's without even using the HDMI yet. I read someone complain about the volume, but I found the sound to be more than adequate, way better than my 36 inch - At level 15 it is very loud. On my other Samsung TV I have to be around 30 for the equivalent volume. I'm sure this has to do with more room for bigger speakers in the larger TV. We are using the stand (not wall mounted) and it swivels to a very large angle making it easy to get behind and plug cables even when set back in a niche above the fireplace.

A great HDTV at a resonable price

Right out of the box I knew that I had made another correct decision to buy my 6th HDTV/computer monitor from Samsung. The quality is excellent has 120Hz very good value for the money. Samsung has style that is lacking in some of the cheaper brands. This is NO Dynex washed out screen! Has all the modern connections standard as well. Last but not at all least is the Samsung support. Where else do you find a company that backs up their products so well. All my purchases/serial numbers are easily reached. A best buy for sure.

After shopping online for several days for a replacement for our old "tube" TV we chose this one based on price and reviews along with the obvious upgraded features we did not have before. Instant start up with easy directions. Our son was a great help because he has a Samsung TV himself. Thanks Dan!
