very good plasma tv

let me start by saying iv been looking for a good tv for a while now and i am very happy with this set. the picture is great dont be fooled by 720p my girlfriend has a 42 inch samsung tv that is 1080p and is a great tv. i can not see a difference in picture quality . the 600htz provides a smooth picture for sports baseball and college basketball looked great this weekend and i look forward to watching the masters this weekend . i play a lot of cod black ops on my xbox 360 and it looks awsome also. i watched 2 movies so far and they looked great as well .the detail was amazing all in all this tv is great .i will be a samsung guy for ever .me and my girls tv are great.also i have a samsung intensity cell phone i love the phone to. samsung is the way to go.thank you for the great tvs nick

Have had TV for a few months now; absolutely love it. I am ridiculous when it comes to comparing brands/features/value and Samsung was near or at the top in almost every category I researched. Very happy with the set so far. Great picture, sound. Probably the biggest clincher in the deal is Samsung reliability, I have owned several other Samsung products and they have all been very high quality. This is my first Samsung Plasma HD, I am expecting the same reliability.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, very reliable brand

This TV was worth every penny. The picture quality is wonderful. The over all size and shape is great for almost any application. Wish it had a couple more connections though.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, excelent price

This television is a fantastic price for the value. The ease in setting up the system and the customer service I received was excellent. My only negative comment is the fact that there are only 2 hdmi ports on the television. I would have liked 3 to hook up all the other electronic devices I have.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: only 2 hdmi ports.

Great Warrenty

I just purchased my first Samsung Plasma Tv.
I called Samsung the same day that i purchased it, and the rep told me that if there is any problem other than abuse, they will send someone out to my house to fix it as long as it is within a year of the date of purchase. And the rep told me that if i register my product online, that Samsung will give me an extra 3 months warranty for free, And i dont have to ship it off to get repaired. Thats Awesome. Way to go Samsung. But this review is early, and i really havent got my TV hooked up yet, But i am confident that everything will be Great.

When my RCA big screen went out I had to go TV shopping. My repairman recommended Samsung products so I compared price and products. Obviously I chose the Samsung and have loved the clarity of picture and value I feel I received for the price.

I bought this tv to replace my trusty old 1995 era tube set--so while *anything* would have been an upgrade, this set has totally surpassed my expectations. I chose this plasma set because the picture is simply better than LCD. It is sharper and doesn't pixellate or smear when movement is shown on the screen. Though I have a fairly bright room with two sets of french doors, this display is bright enough to be seen clearly. The quality of the picture is what really makes this set stand out--it looks every bit as good as the 1080p ones did. It looks nice too, it is slim and not bulky. I guess the features are probably similar to other sets, but again, I had very few on my old tube set, so I was easily impressed :)
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
