Fantastic flat cooktop

We've had this product for about one year and it's been everything we hoped it would be. It replaced a prior builder-installed smaller cooktop that never heated well and couldn't accommodate larger cookware. This unit accommodates all of our larger pans and pots as well as normal/smaller ones. Heats much more quickly than our last unit and we can finally get a large pot of water boiling when we're making tons of pasta! Cleanup is what one would expect from a flattop - use a good cooktop cleaner and a blade/scraper at least weekly. Overall we love it.

This is the best stove top I have ever used. Cooking was a chore before we got this unit, but now cooking is quick, easy and accurate. You can ajust the heat so closely that cooking an entire breakfast meal in one skillet is a snap, without burning anything. My eggs turn out perfect every time now. GREAT!!!

My wife loves the look and more importantly, the ease of using this cooktop. It heats up quickly and the temperature is always constant. We love it.

Easy care appliance!

I have been using my new cook top for about three weeks now. It is fantastic! I have had several cook tops over the years, but this Whirlpool Gold was worth the extra dollars that I paid for it. I am still exploring all of its features.

A terrific cooktop

We selected the 30 inch cooktop for our kitchen remodel and couldn't be more pleased. We have been very surprised at how quickly the elements heat and how easy it is to fine tune the temperature. The glass top with pattern is really a nice touch.

Nice oven but can't be cleaned.

The lower door has openings to allow to air to escape. Unfortunately, this also allows spills to enter between the glass panes on the door. After three months the door looks filthy. I contacted Whirlpool regarding how to clean this and I was advised that I needed to have a service tech come out to clean my door. It is considered a "cosmetic" problem and is not covered under warranty. There is no way to avoid normal spills when using the oven. While I do like the double oven feature, it's not worth it to have my oven looking like I haven't wiped the door down, even though it was just cleaned. I was very excited when I purchased this very expensive oven and I'm sorry I wasted my money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the double oven

We bought this a year ago. My hubby did alot of research into what we wanted in a range. There is only the 2 of us so the small upper oven comes in very handy. On the holidays it's great because I have room to use both ovens. The stovetopss have different heat settings and they can boil water for pasta really quickly. The stovetop is a little difficul to keep shiny.
