Great product but....

The product overall is good. The LAN card inside the unit is weak and setting the network up is a daunting task because there is no way to put in your settings manually for a wireless connection if the unit can not find your router during setup. It is very frustrating and this unit did not have these problems until I updated the software. After the update, the unit could not connect to my LAN nor could it find my router to set the wireless connection. It is also not easy to get the player to find the network ready hard drive I have connected to my router for playback of videos, music, and pictures. The unit assumes everything is "root" but there is no way to tell the unit which actual folder the music, pictures, or videos are located. Samsung gets a poor mark for this also.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: poor software and menus, weak internal lan card

Too Slow and Freezes

This was the 2nd Samsung Bluray player I have had, and the first was equally just as bad. It's glitchy, too slow, and the interface is primitive.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Bluray player

Great bluray player looks good matches my c8000 led tv. 3d is also good. I have had some audio drop outs though but don't know if it was the player or the disc

I am so happy i purchased this blu ray player that i bought another one. only drawback is the additional adpater needed for streaming
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: adpter should be included

Nice Player, loads fairly fast compared to others. As of right now I'm having problems with its wi-fi. Hope support gets something done.
