After a lot of reading reviews, we decided to go with this one. Very satisfied we did. Great product for the price, works with my Samsung TV via the Anynet HDMI. Makes playing movies a lot easier.
Pros: Realistic color, design

Pause/Play audio delay, F:/ External drive

Dissappointed with many things about the BD-D6700. Watching a Blu-ray and pause then play causes a delay in the audio being syncronized. The delay seems to get worse with every pause. The fix is to press stop then play again and it goes back being in sync. Next is Allshare software downloads fine from Samsung website but after installed it tells tou its not up to date. If you try to update, it uninstalls the Allshare software & before it can reinstall the updated version it has to restart the PC. But the Allshare software won't allow the restart without cancel first which ends up loosing the update and you have to go back and download again. Fix is to not do the update. Next the Allshare software only finds audio, video & photos, no documents. It only finds that stuff on your C:/ drive per network ID of your device being there. If you have external storage drives (F:/), they will not be accessed through Allshare. The fix is If it is USB, it is possible to hook it up directly to the player, but if eSATA, your out of luck. Then there is the finding files in your PC with the Allshare software. I have a PC with about 180GB of stuff to find. Its been 12 hours and the software is still trying to find stuff and update its files. This is not being done over the wireless network, this is the Allshare software in my PC making its own directory to find stuff on my PC. The fix for this is return this unit for a full refund because there is just to much low tech going on here along with some bugs.

NetFlix streaming blackens intermittently and throughout the viewing. All other features work as promised and expected.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, netflix streaming

Samsung has done it again! They are the only electronic company that carries a blu-ray player that has a duel HDMI out. Now, that is a plus for me cause sometimes i prefer not the have the reciever on all of the time, if you don't have the reciever on then you will not get a picture from your television with one HDMI connection. It just keeps your options open.....

Good Quality but Overpriced

I received this Blu-Ray player as an upgrade for a BD-C7900 that was experiencing uncorrectable data drops while feeding my Samsung 8000 series 3D LED TV. So far the data drop problem has been greatly reduced, so I am happy with that part. There are fewer settings (output adjustments, menu wallpaper, etc.) than the prior player, and the case is odd sized and the finish extremely slippery. In my recessed shelves setup I have my turntable stacked on top of this player, and even with a complete rebuild of the turntable's feet, there is a lot of sliding around going on at times! When the next earthquake hits (and we have a lot of them around here), it will be interesting to see where this thing ends up...
Pros: Lightweight, hdmi data output solid
Cons: expensive for its features, finish slippery; doesn't stack well
