Have been using TT for years and will continue to do so. With the continual changing of laws & forms - who needs those headaches?
I'd never attempt to start with blank pre-printed forms and begin unraveling the clues.

What's great about it: just follow the guide and enter my info. TT fills out the forms and checks the math.
What's not so great: Fees for Direct Deposit and State E-filing

Straightforward process

For some reason Fidelity investments did not all come over.....I had to manually load some transactions.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and intuitive
What's not so great: Upload of partners didn't work seemlessly

Fast Filing

The thing I like best about Turbo Tax is that it carries over our information from year to year and ensures we get the maximum refund. It also has good explanations of the items that might otherwise be confusing. I have been using Turbo Tax for 10 years and it keeps getting better.
Another good feature is the online updating of forms which ensures you have the latest forms and tax data.
I am a real fan and recommend it to all my friends (except the tax accountants who prepare returns for a living). I have never had a problem and am confident that the refund I am getting is the most I could get. The free e-file process is really easy and gets us our refund usually within a couple of weeks.
What's great about it: Made sure we covered everything and maximized our refund

What's not so great: menus and prompts change each year; calculator hard to find to pull up

First it asked if we donated to last year's charities and when we said yes it imported all of the names. Then it asked if we wanted to import It's Deductible and when we said yes we had all the charities listed twice. The first question should indicate to say no if you are going to import It's Deductible. Also, when we did import It's Deductible, the values for donated items changed from what was listed on It's Deductible throughout the year (I assume a new value list was released by IRS) but it didn't change the values in the original It's Deductible...this is very confusing.
What's great about it: Importation of It's Deductible charitable contributions
What's not so great: Confusing instructions on charities

I really likes Turbo Tax. It asks all the right questions and it was very easy doing the step by step to get everything right.

really helps with calculating value of items donated. Completes federal and state return at the same time.
