I will definitely use Turbo Tax for my 2014 tax year.
What's great about it: This is the second year that I have used Turbo Tax and it was easier to use this year.
What's not so great: None that I can think of

questions area a lot more specific than last year's answers section. Price still higher than competitors, I almost went withH&R Block's version this year.
What's great about it: was quick & easy
What's not so great: price of software $10.00 higher than H&R Block's software.

Pain Free

I was resistant to Turbo Tax at first but friends said how easy it was to use. They were right and I found deductions my paid accountants left off. I also like the Charity deductions check list I can use all year long. I have been deducting way too little by estimating the value of my clothing donations. Now I can record my donations as they happen and Turbo Tax saves it for me for next year's return. Just made my life easier!
What's great about it: It was great to compare this year's deductions with last's years. Very easy since Turbo Tax saves all the information fn
What's not so great: I always have to search for the place to deduct my Union Dues.

Ten Year Turbo Tax User
on February 16, 2014

Ten years of IRS confusion simplified with your built-in accurate and simultaneous calculations throughout that IRS maze. The option to "explore on my own" is fine. Yet, I follow your step-by-step process each year for that once a year IRS task. I don't miss an item that way. Keep those pop-up definations and examples handy! There are too many accounting terms used for those of us who are not accountants. Your access to "back" to earlier pages or to "edit" along the way during the summaries is most appreciated even though they're repetative. The options for saving a file, the printing options are pleasing, too, depending on each filer's complexity of need. Some of us tax payers continue to use functional OS (operating systems) such as XP. If Turbo Tax no longer suports such OS's as XP, would our upgrading computer and software be considered a "tax preparation expense"? The wife retired from the 'rat race'. The boys are done with college and gainfully employed with college loans to pay-off. Retirement is only a few years, away.
What's great about it: Accurate, simultaneous calculations through the filing formula; Built-in definitions and examples; Error checking.
What's not so great: Turbo Tax 2013 could not open my 2012 file.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
