SO EASY

IT WAS SO EASY TO USE - IT WALKED ME THROUGH EVERY QUESTION AND IF I NEED MORE EXPLANATION - HELP WAS THERE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TURBO TAX TO EVERYONE!
What's great about it: WALKED ME THROUGH
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been doing our taxes using TurboTax for over 15 yrs. Love the program-very easy to use, walks you thru each step/question.

getting worse! -I couldn't fill the REVIEW TITLE TOTALLY -IT STOPPED.
this review was worse then the program.
In some cases cents were dropped off the final doc . I couldn't put the cents in.

This isn't the first time. I've BATTLED THIS IN OTHER YRS.
I would suggest you generate the ability to copy the personal info and the charities so they would need to be input when I had to redo the whole thing.
I WANT A PHONE #, WITH A HUMAN TECH SUPPORT TALKING TO ME IF I HAVE THESE PROBLEMS.

I had to go thru the last question " one more thing to answer" numerous times to make it go. Highlited areas in some cases had no explanation as to what they wanted.
wife is deceased, put in the date, then two other areas were highlited. I had no clue what they wanted. I guess and it took it.

2013 turbo tax review

Easy to install. Like the year over year carryover. Like the feature that is shows you the previous year. Like all the explanations and guides. Overall its fairly straight forward.
What's great about it: Ability to view the underlying documents and calculations
What's not so great: Its a bit confusing when you go back and review previous sections as it works like you're starting over from that point

Efficient and Easy

The TurboTax Deluxe program handled every situation applicable to our particular situation. The software is designed to make it easy to complete the tax filing process in a relatively short period of time. If you have all of your information at hand (and have tabulated things like medical expenses and taxes paid), it's very quick. The designers obviously have an in-depth knowledge of tax law, as they were even able to reduce the taxable amount of our refund from last year.
The only thing I think needs improvement is the software's ability to search for previous tax filings. I had two prior years' worth of documents saved on my laptop under the TurboTax heading, and the program still couldn't find last year's documents to facilitate the importation for this year.

What's great about it: TurboTax walks you through everything that could possibly be applicable to your situation.
What's not so great: I wish we didn't have to refer to last year's paper copy of the tax forms.

Need to add to Turbo Tax CD how to save tax returns to Disc or portable drive during the filing process

I like Turbo Tax and have used it for years, but there are always parts that leave me confused. I usually need my boyfriend at my elbow to help meout.
In most parts I would like an even more simplistic step-by-step set-up with super obvious instructions. I'm not dumb, I just have a hard time with reading computer screens sometimes.
