By importing a good deal of information from last year's return; it saves a lot of keystrokes.
However during this year's final review it repeatedly told me one entry from my w-2 was too high and would not let me file. Who should I believe? TT or my lying eyes and the employer who sent the w-2? I had to lie to file.

Worry-free tax preparation

This is my second year for using Turbo Tax Deluxe - I am able to file with confidence - great product!
What's great about it: Simple process to follow and allows you to make changes and see the results.
What's not so great: Filing fees
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax 2013

I have been using Turbo Tax for over five years and I keep loving it every year, its very detailed and gives me peace of mind when I am done e filing it. I will keep using it every year.
What's great about it: Breeze to complete your taxes, Very detailed, Love the step by step interview
What's not so great: Proplems with transferring from 2012, if I leave a topic in the middle without completing it, it assumes I am done
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Fix your program

First off every year I get a question on error checking that ask me to label a tax deduction. It just says Form A 17 what was this for? How the heck would I know. I can't see what the deduction is or the form.
The second problem is the E-file error. It kept telling me to update my program. Well every time I did there was nothing. I had to go online to find out that I had to empty my computers trash bin to fix the problem. That's a weird error correction. But it worked.

As always turbo tax guides me to a completed return in a fraction of the time it would take me on my own. Much cheaper then the professionals too.
