I can't imagine trying to do my own taxes by hand. TurboTax makes an overwhelming task tolerable.

Quick and painless

I love how TurboTax carries over my previous year's information saving me lots of time. The help links are, indeed, helpful and provide the quick answer I'm looking for.
What's great about it: Plenty of details regarding my tax filing. Easy to follow and enter in the correct figures.
What's not so great: Charge for state filing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've used turbo tax for years and have no problems as a rule, very user friendly.
What's great about it: Really straight forward and easy to use
What's not so great: couldn't delete some items that were no longer valid

Quick and easy

What I like best is the fact all my documents are at arms reach while sitting at my home desk.
You have the freedom to stop working on your return and pick right up where you left off at your convenience.
All tax code is in the program and you're walked right through the process in a way that is straight forward and easy to understand.
Hard to beat.

TurboTax Makes It Easy

With the guided method of entering things I feel like there is little chance that I have missed something important. I also like the error checking and audit likelihood testing it does. I have used TurboTax for many years, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
What's great about it: Steps through income and deductions so nothing is missed.
What's not so great: Once you start the guided method it is hard to go back to a topic.

Very easy, as always. My only gripe is that for some reason the program insisted I wait for Schedule K updates to be available even though I have not received one since 2010.
