My first time trying to do my own taxes I was pretty hesitant. But once I started in and notice the refund I was getting my confidence level went up. I received more on my own rather then having to to go to a tax repairer. Thanks 2 thumbs up, I will see you again for 2014 taxes.
What's great about it: Very detailed questions
What's not so great: It ask every little detailed question

A little more help with US Savings Bonds would be great.

Easy to work with!

I have used this software for several years and find it easy to work with. Anyone should be able to do their taxes with no problems.
What's great about it: So simple to understand, was a breeze!
What's not so great: Can't think of a thing.

Turbo Tax makes my life easier every tax season. I've been using Turbo Tax for several years now and it gets easier every year. I can sleep soundly at night because I can rest-assured all the calculations are spot-on and I haven't submitted a return with errors. Thanks Turbo Tax! Keep up the great work! Your product is top-notch!!
What's great about it: Step-by-step, detailed and very easy to use

EPIC fail

I completed my taxes just fine. The program was unable to send them by E-mail. It asked me to download an update that didn't exist.
What's great about it: the process worked fine
What's not so great: The end result was that I couldn't E-mail my return.

TurboTax is Great ... 5 Years Running!

Even when stumped by some complex reporting for investment purposes, the Help and Community provided real-time answers to my specific questions ... TurboTax has only become better over the years!

Handles HCTC just fine

We had, for us, a complicated tax season this time around. With three jobs, unemployment, COBRA health care and the HCTC that went along with it. TurboTax handled everything with its usual ease and thoroughness. It even printed out the completed forms we needed for the HCTC that have to be sent in separately along with the COBRA bills and cancelled checks. We love TurboTax and have used it every year since 2003.
What's great about it: Easy to use, thorough

2013 TurboTax Review

Bug 1 - Forgetting DOB entry for dependent does not bring up a prompt for the user; the "status" field remains blank;
Bug 2 - Need to bring State Download progress window to the front during State selection; the user does not see what is happening in the background, and the software appears "frozen" to the user during this period;
What's great about it: Clear and Easy Step-by-step instructions
What's not so great: A few bugs in the software product
