Taxes Are Cool!

The software was intuitive, easy to use, and updated my amounts owed in real time. I simply do not see any advantage in using any other software out there for filing taxes. In some cases, like EITC, it acted like my MAGI was not known and I had to click "I don't qualify" myself. Other than that, it took care of the process for me. It also made paying my Federal taxes painless. Could not be more please and enthusiastic about my purchase.
What's great about it: Slick interface and real time updates of amounts owed
What's not so great: Sometimes it acted like it did not know my MAGI for certain deductions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The software was easy and streamlined, but at the same time very thorough in gathering the correct information.

Anothwer year of using Turbo Tax and it still serves me well. It walks me through everything so I don't overlook anything. It is weasy to understand and I enjoy the detailoed information I get and the comparisons to last year. Also, carrying forward inform,ation makles the input the next year simpler.
What's great about it: It's step by step and easy to unmderstand

2013 Tax Experience

Not only was Turbo Tax not prepared for the 1099-B info, but the message I received was that I would receive an e-mail when it was ready--that did not happen.
Also, I was advised that if I had stock/bond/mutual fund sales that I would benefit from Turbo Tax Premier. This feels like an upsale that should be included. Bottom line--Turbo Tax either helps me prepare my personal taxes or it doesn't!
What's great about it: Remembers data from year to year
What's not so great: 1099-B entries were not ready in Turbo Tax this year
