Great Program

Another great year for Turbo Tax. Simple to use with clear, concise directions. I believe past years asked specific life change questions, such as "did you have a baby?". This year's version of the software did not. I easily figured out that I needed to add a new dependent for my son, but was a little confused when it came to how to apply the earnings I had when on maternity leave/FMLA. I would like to see a bit more clarity around that in the future.
What's great about it: Easy to Use,
What's not so great: Would like clearer info regarding maternity leave/FMLA tax implications

Used for years

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years now. I tried going to a person, but I didn't totally understand what was going on and I felt like I had no control. Turbo tax is easy to use and so helpful. I understand what is going on.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: Haven't had any cons
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Family Taxes

I find that some of the questions end up being redundant. If there is some way of shortening the presentation without endangering mistakes, I would be all for that! I have been using Turbo Tax for about 15 years or so. I keep coming back. Thanks.
What's great about it: Easy to use for your own taxes, Great for teaching your kids.

Easy to complete. With all documents available you can complete within two hours time.
What's great about it: very easy to complete
What's not so great: It would be nice if the font was larger for us OLD FOLKS!

Filing State Return

The program only gave an option to e-file my state return. I had to print it out through the File-Print method.

Great product - as ususal

Although overall still a great product, getting us through the returns painlessly, one area annoys. After entering info for a particular line item, the program takes you back to the top of the return, rather than to the line you were on. I had to scroll down to the appropriate line each time.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: return to previous screen issues
