overall good but frustrated at times

overall good, but the final efiling would not initially go through because of software updates that were needed. When I tried to update the messages received was that the software was up to date. I had to wait a couple of days to update again and then it worked. Eventually it turned out fine but it was frustrating for a few hours.
What's great about it: easy to follow, very detailed
What's not so great: updating software and being able to efile was frustrating when the updates wouldn't go through

first time was long and drawn out but i could see that it was necessary to do the forms correctly
What's great about it: self explanatory
What's not so great: first time takes awhile
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Gets Better Every Year

The tax review phase and eMail functions are a great time saver for me every year.
I believe I have been using TurboTax since the year it was first introduced many years ago.
I have never had a tax return tagged for errors and the filing has always provide a a very quick tax refund.

Works great (small glitch)!

Great tax preparation software. I have used it for over 10 years and it just keeps getting better. For the first time ever, I had trouble with e-filing validation activity. Some problem with Mac users only. But, followed recommended solution (reinstall) and it worked no problem.
What's great about it: Fantastic way to complete taxes simply - great walk through!
What's not so great: Had trouble with e-filing, but fixed with reinstall (first time ever)

Love my refund

I've been using this product for years. It has been getting easier to use each year so the company does listen to our compliments/complaints. Some items can be explained a little more when it comes to the state taxes. I have to file for two states and I'm not sure, sometimes, what applies to me. Other than that It's a GREAT program.
What's great about it: ease of use
What's not so great: sometimes you cannot tell if you have the deduction/adjustment of the more technical questions.

taxes made easy

Turbo tax is very good but is slowly creeping up in price, I guess anything good is pricey. Still cheaper than an accountant
What's great about it: just plug in number and import
What's not so great: getting pricey

Federal Return was not the same

The process of filing taxes was easy. The review and audit check was thorough. However the Federal Return I had direct deposited was several hundred dollars less than what Turbo Tax calculated after fees and services were deducted.
What's great about it: Easy to follow process
What's not so great: the Federal Return that was direct deposited was way off
