Please be upfront!

It is not at all clear that you need to pay EXTRA to download the state return information. that should be included in the upfront cost. I really can't but groceries next week because I had to pay the extra money to do my state taxes too.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is easy, and works really well
What's not so great: you have to pay extra to download the state version and they didn't tell me that ahead of time
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I believe for anyone doing their taxes online for the first time, they should use Turbo Tax. I did and have continued to use it for several years. I was amazed at the accuracy of it and how, most of the time, I could understand what I was doing. Try it and see if you don't think it is great!
What's great about it: You can depend on Turbo Tax to do a great job.
What's not so great: Upset with some of the instructions but it all worked out.

Very easy to use, reduces the time spent on taxes and does the calculations for me; answers questions with helpful links. Once used, automatically imports the main data from the previous year, making it even faster. E-filing is free and the price for the deluxe far cheaper than paying a service and much easier and faster than doing it manually.

Fast, Easy, and Good Price

Used Turbo Tax Deluxe Federal and State. Easy to Install to Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Software updated quickly and easily with no bugs. It was easy to use and relatively fast. There were a lot of questions, but that is to be expected.
Overall great program. I've been using if for several years and always been satisfied. Sure beats paying someone else to do it.
What's great about it: Fast and Easy
What's not so great: None, really

Turbo tax is so easy. I don't know why I have waited so long to start using it as well as paying others hundreds of dollars to do my taxes for me.
