One Little Box

My W-2 is complicated because of my religious work. I accidentally misidentified one little box of income and spent the next 3 hours fearing I owed twice again what I'd payed in quarterlies! Yikes! We found our error and were so relieved.
What's great about it: I'm a pastor and the program makes all those forms so easy
What's not so great: There are NO Cons

Turbo Tax is GREAT

I have been using Turbo Tax for at least 14 years and it makes it so anyone can do their taxes. If you collect all the information over the year, there will be no problems. If you get lost they can help you. I'm very happy and recommend Turbo Tax Deluxe if you need State taxes too. The next year is even better. Most of your information will transfer fore you.
What's great about it: Support any time you need it

The Best

Read through everything and looked into certain subjects that I knew would be helpful to me.
After I started, it all came together and I only had a couple of changes.
The delay due to sales taxes caused by the IRS seems to be a non issue. Cannot understand why it took so long?
What's great about it: Ease of entry and help.
What's not so great: Really did not find anything significant.

i like turbo tax a lot put the fee is what i don't like can you guy cut the state e-filing fee out and have the software free states in the next year software

I always choose the walk thru even though I have used Turbo Tax for years. I like to make sure I don't miss any possible deductions. The price is right for the program and much cheaper than paying a tax preparer.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Quick.

Retirement complicated taxes this year, you might add a tutorial for mid year retirement concerning what you can and cannot do: HSA, IRA, medical concerns, etc.
