Could still be simpler

I think you could take the step-through questions just a little further to make it easier. If my data doesn't look pretty similar to the previous year, something's probably not correct. This should be easier to resolve.
What's great about it: Very Organized
What's not so great: Step-through wording on the questions still cause confusion

Other than the initial struggle to e-file (ended up restarting), I thought everything went smooth.
What's great about it: easy to use, easy to edit

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy

I've been using TurboTax for years now. My returns are fairly simple (two incomes, home interest, donations) and it took less time to complete our taxes start to finish than it did for my husband to watch one episode of his favorite cop show. The trick is to keep all your tax-related papers in one file throughout the year. It's easier to keep up than catch up. Then TurboTax swoops in and in less than an hour, you're done!
What's great about it: Importing last year's returns makes it a breeze

I have used TurboTax for a few years now and I feel confident that I am receiving my maximum refund. Thank you for being so simple. I just collect all of my "important tax papers" as they arrive in the mail. Once I have them, I purchase your product, find an hour to sit down, and I'm done! It really is that simple!
What's great about it: Very short but consise descriptions/questions

The program seems to have a hang up if you checked you use vehicle in Business and then change to no vehicle use, it keeps insisting you enter vehicle info. only way I got around it was to put in a second error that corrected the first and then canceled the second error.
What's great about it: Does a good job if you dont make error on vehicle usage.
What's not so great: Very difficult to make some corrections if you once check a box wrong, online direct help hard to get.

Survived another tax season

Maybe I'm spoiled and expect too much....but some aspects of the program were not as easily followed as previous years. I had to go through additional hoops to get to the "C" portion of my return. A reminder at the appropriate point in the program that you used a certain form last year and does it apply this year, would have been nice....Also, and this is probably not Turbo's problem, but I had to also go in on the W-2 and modify the Employers State ID number. Since most of us do our taxes only once a year, that is somewhat disconcerting to have that continually popping up and appearing to have been taken care of, only to find out on "transmittal" that it hadn't.
What's great about it: Done in two sessions
What's not so great: not as intuitive as previous programs
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
