needs inprovement for importing suportivedocuments

in quicken you can attach supportive documents as attachments from a scanner or a file to a particular registry line (ie check book etc) for tax purposes. However, when you import the information at tax time these attached files Do Not transfer over to turbo tax (just the raw data transfers) So when it come to an actual audit by the IRS these documents that you spent a lot of time scanning into quicken are not available in turbo tax so you must go back into quicken and print each one off wasting hundreds of man hours to produce the proof you need for the audit.
What's not so great: unable to import attachments from quicken program

We have been using Turbo Tax for about 8 years. Made the job alot better for us. We would recommend it to anyone.
What's great about it: It was thorough, made doing taxes easy.

Best Way To Do Taxes

I've been doing my taxes this way for over 10 years. It's very easy and reliable. Lets me have access to all the tax information I need. I recommend this to anyone.

Done in less than 2 hours!

It was what I have come to expect. After getting all my forms together, inputted the new amounts and go it done in less than two hours. That was with interest, energy credits, and small business deductions. Very cool, it would have taken me longer to find someone to do my taxes. Turbo Tax is the best!
What's great about it: Took info from prior years and appied to this year's retrun.
What's not so great: The income section this year seems longer than last year, minor complaint.

alot of Extra needless work at IRS audit time

Go Turbo

Wasn't very clear as to what was going to come next with some of the inputs, even with the Help. Not all info was importable. The "Plus" was; I really like the final reviews and error/ verification checks, as well as ease of filing.
Give Turbo Tax an ( A-) this year. Not too bad.

What's not so great: A bit cumbersome. Probably more Tax Law related than Turbo Tax.
